Opportunities

The Mentorship Program

The Mentorship Program is designed to mentor a small number of students who aspire to some form of pastoral ministry. This program will provide unique opportunities to learn outside of the classroom and to serve in various capacities (including pulpit supply and volunteer opportunities at CPPL events). It is our desire at the Center for Preaching and Pastoral Leadership to equip and encourage pastors to lead healthy, disciple-making churches and we feel we have a unique opportunity to fulfill this mission before our guys ever step foot into the pastorate.

What to Expect

Students who are a part of the CPPL Mentorship Program are expected to participate in our monthly meetings. Each month, we provide lunch and bring in a guest to speak on a ministry-related topic.

In addition to our monthly meetings, we provide opportunities for our mentees to participate in pulpit supply, sermon coaching, and reading groups.

The program begins in the Fall semester and goes through the Spring semester.
