Post Icon

We believe that Southeastern has the strongest advanced degrees (ThM, DMin, EdD, and PhD) pastors and church leaders can find. So, this week’s recommended resource is actually last week’s “Pastor Matters” podcast with all the Southeastern advanced degree directors: “Episode 201: Why You Should Consider an Advanced Degree.” If you have opportunity to do more study, accessibility to that study, and ability to do it—we’re convinced you must at least pray about it when so many believers around the world have no such opportunity. Let us know how we might help you think about your options.

Timothy Scholars

Students who have a calling to pastoral ministry in a local church can complete a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Divinity in five years through the Timothy Scholars program (BA to MDiv). Students in this program must have a passion for learning and maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher. Timothy Scholars (BA to MDiv) students also have the opportunity to complete coursework under the leadership of a local church pastor, complete mission hours both nationally and internationally, and experience ministry first hand
